Did we miss you? I hope you… The holidays we have a moment away but, slowly, we are returning all to normal and we are also starting to cook again. The dish that we present today represents, in the most general sense, a classic Sicilian combination, tuna with sweet and sour. Enlarging this concept, I decided to prepare some morsels of tuna breaded with sesame and poppy to accompany with a bittersweet onion and a melon sauce that, if sweet of nature, is contrasted with the strong flavor of spices and chives. Try to believe!
____ _____ Ingredients for 4 people _____-__ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _____
800 grams of tuna
500 grams of white melon
1 onion
3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
1.5 tablespoons full sugar cane
Chives to taste
Spicy Paprika to taste
Sesame seeds and poppy to taste
Salt, pepper and E.V.O. oil Taste
We finely slice the onion and put it in a non-stick pan together with vinegar and sugar and cook it on a gentle fire. As soon as all the liquid has evaporated and the onion will be caramelized (about 3-4 ') we can turn it off and set aside. Now let's prepare the main ingredient of the dish. Cut the tuna to cubes of about 3 cm of the side.
Put it in a boule then Saliamolo and Pepiamolo and Ungiamolo with the oil. We prepare the breading by combining the seeds of sesame and poppy between them then let over the mouthfuls of tuna.
anoint the frying pan used to prepare the onion and cook the tuna for 2 ' per side so let's put it all aside. All set for serve.
Infilziamo three cubes of tuna with a skewer and put them in the middle of a slate plate. On one side we put two tablespoons of onion sistemandola parallel to the skewer and on the other two tablespoons of melon sauce lying next to the tuna.
Enjoy your meal!!!!!
